Built by someone who felt the problem

PARQ started on a cloudy Sunday morning at Wrightsville Beach. Jackson Davis drove down from Wilmington looking for a spot — and couldn't find one. Not a single space. But empty driveways lined every street.

Standing there frustrated, the thought hit him: "I wish I could just pay one of these homeowners to let me park here." That was it. That was PARQ.

I was fed up with waking up early just to race to the beach and still not find parking. There had to be a better way.

Wrightsville Beach has one of the most sought-after shorelines on the East Coast. It also has one of the worst parking situations — limited public spots, unpredictable availability, and a frustrating experience that starts before you even touch the sand.

"There were empty driveways everywhere. Homeowners weren't using them. Beachgoers needed them. Nobody had connected the two."

Jackson built PARQ to solve that — not just for himself, but for the families, locals, and visitors who love Wrightsville as much as he does. And to make sure that the town itself benefits from every booking placed on the platform.

Fix the parking problem
Wrightsville's parking hasn't kept up with its popularity. PARQ unlocks supply that already exists — private driveways steps from the beach — and makes it available to everyone who needs it.
Increase access to the beach
The beach should be for everyone — not just those who live walking distance or get there before 7am. PARQ makes a stress-free beach day possible for more people, more often.
Deliver an elevated experience
